To Get A Quote.
To get a quote on you ship I will need you to email me enough pictures so that I can duplicate your design in game. There are way to many variables to this to have a general price guide. The size, the difficulty of the build, and some of these modules are very difficult to create. All of this has to be taken into consideration so I do hope that makes sense to people.
There needs to be pictures from every angle. This includes the top, bottom, front, back, and the sides. If it is a large or complicated build then the ship will need to be broken down into layers inside the ship builder part of Starfield.
The more detail I can see the easier it is for me to replicate your design. By building your ship design in game it allows me to determine the best way to combine, print, and assemble the modules for the best appearance and strength.
Next we can discuss what size you would like for the ship to be when completed. I find it easier to base the scale on a 1x1x1 module. If we build it on a 2 inch scale then that module would measure 2 inches by 2 inches by 0.89 inches. If we build it on a 3 inch scale then that module would measure 3 inches by 3 inches by 1.31 inches. The 2 inch scale is the smallest that I will make due to the tiny details of the designs. The 3 inch scale has the better detail and so forth but requires twice the material and twice the time to make it. As an example, if your design is 10 modules long and 5 modules wide, then your ship would measure 20 inches long by 10 inches wide based on a 2 inch scale and 30 inches long by 15 inches wide based on a 3 inch scale.
Once I have all of this information then I can give you an exact quote on the production of your players ship that you love to use in your game.
